Hi, I’m Cyrill. A storyteller. I’ll tell you the most boring stories. In an interesting way. Or sad ones that will make you smile. I like writing about complex topics – and simplify them. I also like the opposite: Making easy stuff look very difficult. Well, I’m fascinated by the power of words. And by meaningful narratives.

Anyhow, I left University. As a Master of Arts in Economics. I then realized: I’m into different kinds of arts. And worked ever since as a copywriter, creative director and consultant for leading advertising agencies and brands in Switzerland and abroad. For clients like Nike, Nestlé or NZZ – and many more from ABB to ZVV. Virtually for any industry. On tiny local projects. And on huge global projects. Some top secret, others not secret at all. On fun stuff. And on serious matters.

Some of my work collected the industry’s most prestigious awards. Did it make me a better human? No. But it made me an awarded member of the One Club New York, the D&AD London, the ADC*Europe and the ADC Switzerland. Not the most important thing, but regarded as a token of quality. And it helped me as a creative director to lead a creative team into the top ten of Switzerland’s most creative advertising agencies.

Management experience? I love chaos – only to bring order. As a member of the board and as a father of three I have gathered some practical knowledge in co-management and co-leadership. In short: I lead as an example. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. Errare humanum est. Failing is learning. And improving a must. My specialty? I can fix anything. From motorcycles, kitchens, computers, furniture, minor injuries and bad moods to messy communication strategies. I might be a DIY afficionado, yet I prefer to work in a team.

Along the way, I realized: I’m a master of none, but interested in many things and keen to learn. And: Creativity is a beautiful thing – not only to come up with funny or smart ads but even more so for spreading new ideas, making an impact, and changing things for the better. But enough about me.
